Bertotto and Delvecchio injuries hit Italy

Italy have two new injury worries as they prepare to meet Georgia in a 2002 World Cup qualifier in Tbilisi on June 2nd.

Udinese defender Valerio Bertotto has pulled out of the squad with a tendon strain with Fiorentina defender Alessandro Pierini taking his place.

AS Roma striker Marco Delvecchio replaced Christian Vieri in the Italy squad yesterday after another injury for the Inter star but Delvecchio himself is now siffering with a groin problem.
