Galatasary's fine for crowd trouble at their Champions League quarter final against Real Madrid in April has been reduced by UEFA.
The Ali Sami Yen is to stay shut for European matches next season but a $70,050 fine has been reduced to $50,000 on appeal after several security problems att he game in Istanbul.
The Gala stadium is not suitable for European games say UEFA and the poor state of the ground is exacerbated by organisational problems. UEFA took £2 million from Gala and fined the club $204,300 for ticket irregularities at the UEFA Cup final last year.
Gala appealed against the latest fine but it failed due to "serious lack of organisation" at the ground in April for the Real match.
