Kanu hopes for move back to Inter

Internazionale have switched attention from Arsenal star Sylvain Wiltord to ask the London club to sell Nwankwo Kanu back to them.

The Nigerian's agent Samuel Udegbunam is in talks with Inter who sold the 24 year old forward to the London club in 1999 for £7 million.

Inter are prepared to pay £12 million for Kanu who was a popular player during his two year spell in Milan despite health problems after his arrival from Ajax.

Kanu is not keen to only be a substitute for Arsenal and has not settled in London after his family were refused residency permits to join him in the UK.
