Juventus are offering a return to Brazil for midfielder Athirson to seal their interest in Vasco da Gama play maker Juninho.

The 27 year Brazilian is keen to stay in Brazil and has an offer to join Flamengo from their Rio rivals after interest from sporting director Walter Oaquim in the last week.

Juve have offered Atletico Madrid £2 million to secure play maker Juninho for the rest of this season after his Vasco da Gama agreed to end the player's loan spell.

Vasco are set to default on a £2 million payment to the Spanish club to keep Juninho freeing up his move to Italy and the Turin club want to sell Athirson to Flamengo to bring Juninho to them.
