Deisler to confirm Bayern Munich move tomorrow
First Published: Oct 29, 2001German international Sebastian Deisler is to confirm his transfer to European champions Bayern Munich tomorrow.
The Hertha Berlin star agreed a pre conract with Bayern in May and his agent Jorg Neubauer says an official announcement about the player's future is due tomorrow.
The DfB could announce a probe into Bayern's dealings with Deisler this week but the player is to confirm details of his new deal with the German champions to head off any investigation into the transfer.
Bayern want Deisler to help replace Stefan Effenberg who is to leave the Munich club at the end of his contract next year with a move to the MLS or Tottenham being considered by the veteran play maker.
