AC Milan say star striker Andriy Shevchenko will be fit again later this week after nasal surgery.
The Ukraine striker should be fit to face Germany in 2002 World Cup play-offs next month after beaking his nose in the draw with Bologna on Sunday.
Milan sent Shevchenko for immediate surgery and he will miss training for five days but there are no complications to the nose break meaning Milan - and Ukraine - hope their top scorer should make a quick recovery.
