Top scorer Baggio facing knee injury lay-off

Serie A top scorer Roberto Baggio is to miss the next month with a knee injury.

The veteran star suffered a knee strain two weeks ago against Piacenza but played on despite pain.

Magnetic resonance tests yesterday showed some damage to the knee muscles and Brescia doctors are waiting for bruising to subside before the full extent of the damage is known.

The 34 year old has hit 8 goals so far this season for Brescia.
