Atletico v Chelsea for Lopez

Atletico Madrid are making a new offer for Argentine forward Claudio Lopez.

The Spanish club's transfer manager Paulo Futre is in Rome to meet Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti and try and sign the former Valencia star who joined Lazio two years ago.

Chelsea have already made an offer for Lopez and his midfield team mate Roberto Baronio but nothing is decided on a move to London yet for the 27 year old.
