Juventus striker David Trezeguet says he wants to stay at the Turin club.
The French striker has been linked with Madrid and especially Arsenal who were prepared to include their Swedish midfielder Freddie Ljungberg in transfer talks to try and sign the former AS Monaco star.
But Trezeguet said today that despite a pay dispute with the Italian club last month that he wanted to stay at Juve:
"I want to stay here. I'm happy with what I earn at the moment and I'm in no hurry to talk about a new deal," he said.
The striker is to start on Sunday as Juve host Brescia trying to peg back Inter's one point lead in the Italian championship with just one game to go after this weekend.
