Inter have new Vieri injury problem

Internazionale have confirmed a new injury problem for Italy striker Christian Vieri.

The 29 year old struggled with a thigh strain last week but started the home win over Piacenza that gives Inter the chance of their first title since 1989 but the forward is now doubtful to be fit to face SS Lazio in Rome next Sunday.

Vieri twisted his right ankle in the first half of yesteday's game but played until the end of the victory and he will not resume trainiong with the Inter squad until much later in the week.
