Blackburn Rovers have agreed to sign Turkish midfielder Hakan Unsal from Galatasaray and Kandia Traore from Anderlecht.

The Premiership strugglers have applied for work permits for both players with 28 year old Unsal a former player for Blackburn coach Graeme Souness in his 1995 season in charge at the Istanbul club.

Hakan refused to sign a new contract with Gala at the end of last year and was dumped from the first team.

Ivory Coast forward Traore is to join Blackburn on a three year contract from the Belgian club.
