Inter send injured Ronaldo for further tests

First Published: Jan 28, 2002

Inter have sent Brazilian striker Ronaldo for further medical tests on a thigh injury.

But there is no evidence of a tear in the player's left thigh so far.

The Milan club's doctor Franco Combi has ordered further investigations and tests into the injury which saw the 25 year old forward pull out of training on Friday ahead of Inter's 1-1 draw at Venezia on Sunday.

The left thigh muscle is causing the Brazilian pain and he is now unlikely to be fit for the national team to face Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on February 6th.
