Sas deal with Nantes is over for now

First Published: Jan 30, 2002

Turkey winger Hasan Sas has seen his move to Nantes fall through.

The French club failed to meet Galatasary's £2 million valuation of the forward and the deal has stalled.

"Hasan wanted $1.5 million in advance while Nantes said they could only go up to $1 million," Galatasaray said on their website.

But a deal could now be done in June with Gala still keen to sell Sas.
