Kaiserslautern say French international midfielder Youri Djorkaeff is not for sale.
Speaking to 'L'Equipe' Kaiserslautern president Juergen Friedrich says the World Cup winner will complete his third season with the Bundesliga club.
"He didn't ask us to cancel his contract. He is keen to play football and make a trip to the World Cup in Japan and South Korea."
But he says the French veteran's agent has been trying to pressurise the German club:
"He called us today and demanded that his client should play again."
"Not a single club, especially a French side, have wanted to try and buy Djorkaeff," claimed Freidrich.
The 33 year old has clashed twice with Kaiserslautern team manager Andreas Brehme and has no first team place after an ankle injury suffered in a cup game last month.
His contract ends in June and he wants to join an English club or return to France.
