Scolari accused in Romario fan row

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has been accused of kicking a fan of unwanted striker Romario.

Scolari refuses to pick the veteran and left him out again of a squad to face Bolivia in a friendly tonight.

Fan Semir Peres has made a formal complaint at a police station in Goiania where the Brazil team has been training.

"Scolari turned on me and had to be held off by Luizao and a bodyguard identified as Silas," Peres told reporters.

Media and fans want Romario included in the Brazil squad but Scolari is standing firm in his rejection of the wayward forward.

Supports from Romario's Rio club Vasco da Gama protested against Scolari when he turned up to watch their game at Sao Paulo last weekend forcing Scolari to leave the ground.

"The fans must respect the squad I choose," Scolari says and says he wants discipline back in the Brazil squad ahead of the World Cup finals in May.
