Klose to be fit for World Cup final

World Cup finalists Germany say top scorer Miroslav Klose will be fit for Sunday’s Yokohama title decider.

Germany meet either Brazil or Turkey who play later today but the Polish-born forward was taken out of the semi final win over South Korea with twenty minutes to go yesterday and the German camp had previously described the AS Roma transfer target as “tired” after his five goals so far in the finals.

”We will have to wait for a day or two - but I don't think he will miss out,” said assistant coach Michael Skibbe.

Klose has been suffering with a rib injury.
