Galatasary win race for Polga

Galatasary are trying to beat AS Roma to the signing of Brazilian centre back Anderson Polga.

The Italian club have tracked Polga for most of this year but are set to lose out to the Turkish champions with the Gremio defender accepting personal terms from the Istanbul club. The 23 year old now looks set to join Gala in July unless Roma decide to raise their offer for the player who has been part of Brazil’s World Cup squad.

Galatasary are also interested in Fiorentina striker Nuno Gomes and Brazilian forward Luizao who is currently on World Cup duty.
