Voller looks at Jeremies to replace suspended Ballack

Bayern Munich midfielder Jens Jeremies is in line to replace suspended Michael Ballack for the World Cup final.

Ballack scored the winner in Tuesday’s semi final against South Korea but picked up a booking earlier in the game earning a suspension for the Yokohama showpience against Brazil on Sunday.

Jeremies has featured mainly as a substitute so far for coach Rudi Voller.

"Jeremies is an excellent alternative," said Germany’s assistant coach Michael Skibbe.

"He has got great international experience."
