Inter worry over Vieri fitness

Inter fear top scorer Christian Vieri may miss league matches for the Serie A leaders.

Vieri reported muscle pains after training with the national team squad earlier this week and missed the 2-1 friendly win in Leeds over England last night.

Vieri is returning to Milan today for more check-ups but he may be rested from the clashes at Fiorentina and against Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup next Thursday but Inter saw Ronaldo play the first half of Brazil's friendly win this morning over Yugoslavia and he may be considered for action.
