Portugal lose Sabrosa from World Cup plans

Benfica say winger Simao Sabrosa is injured and will miss Portugal 's World Cup squad.

The former FC Barcelona player was hurt in the 4-1 caning by Finland after sustaining ligament damage when he landed badly trying to avoid a first half tackle.

The 22 year old will have knee surgery next week and is unlikely to be fit for the start of next season.
