Ibrahimovic cleared for Roma move

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been told he can leave Dutch champions Ajax after just one year.

AS Roma lead the interest in the forward who had a stormy relationship with Ajax coach Ronald Koeman after the Dutch club spent £5 million to sign him last summer.

"Now I want to go to a club where I get to play. I don't feel right sitting on the bench all the time," said the striker with Ajax wanting to recoup their money on the Swede who is on World Cup duty at the moment.

"I have no comment about new clubs. We'll see what happens. But I'm not worried, there are solutions for everything."
