2002 World Cup - Luxembourg 0 Yugoslavia 2

First Published: Sep 03, 2000

Yugoslavia had no trouble seeing off Luxembourg.

The part timers from the principality did well to keep the score down but the game held little to test the visitors who eased to a victory.

Luxembourg's Luc Holtz hit the crossbar with a shot in the first half for the home team's best chance but Yugoslavia scored with two headers to end any resistance.

Savo Milosevic powered in a 4th minute header and Slavisa Jokanovic finished in similar fashion in the 26th minute.
