Portugal found it easy in Tallinn to beat Estonia and produced a good performance.

Rui Costa set the visitors - with coach Antonio Oliveira now back in charge - on the way to a convincing win with a curling shot on the run in the 14th minute.

Luis Figo hit the target with a 49th minute free kick which he curled around the wall of defenders into the top corner of the net.

Figo then capped his night's work with the pass that created Portugal's third goal. He carried the ball into the area and flicked the ball up for Sporting Lisbon forward Sa Pinto to head home.

Andres Oper scored an 84th minute consolation as the Portuguese played out the game when he converted a loose ball from a corner.
