2002 World Cup - Norway 0 Armenia 0

Norway once again disappointed its supporters in Oslo as their miserable summer form continued.

Even though this time, after only having scored twice in the last five matches, coach Nils Johan Semb decided to partner Tore Andre Flo with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the side lacked the ambition or creativity to win.

It is true that both strikers got some good chances, but in fact only Oyvind Leonhardsen got close to scoring when he hit the bar with a low shot in the second half.

The visiting side coached by Varuzhan Sukiasyan proved to know what they were looking for and defended the draw that is a good result for them. On the other hand Johan Semb will have to work harder if he wants to build a really competitive team.
