Switzerland produced a convincing display to beat Austria narrowly 2-1.

Johann Vogel put the Swiss into the lead in the 10th minute when he steered in a low cross with Andy Herzog equalising on the hour mark with a low drive but the Austrians did not play well and failed to mark Murat Yakin in the 76th minute who was able to score the winner from close range.
