Turkey held Holland to a 0-0 draw in a dire Amsterdam friendly.

Holland looked more capable of scoring but failed to break open a Turkish defence who had shipped four goals to France in their last outing back in November.

Turkish goalkeeper Omer Catkic was at full stretch to save a dipping Philip Cocu shot in the 42nd minute and Umit Karan cleared a 76th minute shot off the goal line from substitute Jan Vennegoor.
