Sweden were comfortable winners in Valletta against Malta.

This friendly saw Celtic striker Henrik Larsson create two goals for his team mates on a heavy pitch soaked with rain and also score himself.

Karl Corneliusson was the first to benefit from Larsson's threat to the defence in the 30th minute when he was put clear through on goal to beat goalkeeper Ernest Barry.

Fredrik Ljungberg put Larsson through for an artistic chipped finish in the 40th minute and Hakan Mild completed the scoring in the 78th minute when Larsson set him up for a driven finish.
