A 1-0 win for Finland in Luxembourg came from a Mikael Forssell goal.
Finland and Forsell face England at Anfield next month in a World Cup qualifier the English have to win but this poor match gave few hints about that game.
Finland had the entire game under control and West Ham defender Hannu Tihinen hit the bar with a 26th minute header and Forsell forced two diving saves from goalkeeper Alija Besic at the end of the session.
Forssell settled the game in the 80th minute with a close range drive when he controlled a loose ball.
