Ivory Coast saw their World Cup hopes end as they failed to beat Congo.
The Ivorians were held 1-1 in Pointe Noire and took the lead when defender Mamadou Coulibaly scored from a corner in the 81st minute but Congo equalised two minutes later from a penalty by Walter Bakouma.
The Ivory Coast still have to play DR Congo at home in two weeks but cannot now catch catch Tunisia .
