Honduras had more Copa America joy as they edged out Uruguay 5-4 on penalties to claim third pace at the rescheduled tournament.
Last week Honduras were able to celebrate a 1-0 win over Brazil and they followed it up with this 2-2 draw in Bogota against Uruguay to make their late replacement of Argentina in the draw a success.
Uruguay's Carlos Gutierrez had his effort in the shoot-out saved by goalkeeper Henry Enamorado which gave the win to Honduras when Junior Izaguirre scored the decisive penalty.
The Central Americans also beat Uruguay 1-0 when the two teams met in a first round . They twice led again with close rnage goals from Saul Martinez and Junior Izaguirre but Joe Bizera and Andres Martinez hit drives to complete the first half action.
The flurry of goal scoring was in no danger of a repetition as the game sagged badly in the second half.
