Germany beat Slovakia 2-0 in a low key Bremen friendly with two second half goals from Gerald Asamoah and Frank Baumann.

Asamoah was brought on for the second half and the Schalke 04 player scored in the 50th minute with a cross shot.

Six minutes later Frank Baumann of Werder Bremen headed in the second goal from a corner by Asamoah. Germany play Finland in Helsinki on June 2nd and travel to Alabania on June 6th to end their season with two 2002 World Cup qualifiers. Two wins on the road will all but secure a place in the finals next year.
