2002 World Cup - Jamaica 0 Costa Rica 1

Costa Rica eliminated Jamaica from the race to reach the World Cup finals with a narrow 1-0 win in Kingston.

The visitors took the lead in the fourth minute and a young Jamaican side was unable to get back into the match.

William Sunsing exposed the home team's naivety as they pressed forward early on to try and take the lead but they left the striker unmarked to run in and pick up a loose ball and fire in low under goalkeeper Aaron Lawrence.
