Croatia came from behind to hold World Cup co-hosts South Korea and end their short trip to Asia.
The friendly opened the new Kwangju stadium which will host games at next year's finals.
Croatia lost 2-0 on Saturday and trailed to a 42nd minute Choi Yong-soo shot before defender Boris Zivkovic hit the equaliser twenty minutes later.
The visitors started strongly with defender Josip Simunica smacking a header against the crossbar in only the 3rd minute but Choi gave Korea the lead when he hit a looping finish to a near post cross just before half time.
Milan Rapaic crossed for Zivkovic to head in just after the hour mark.
