Turkey demolished Austria 5-0 for an easy win over Austria.

The 6-0 aggregate scoreline over two legs reflects the domination of Senol Gunes' team to each the finals for the first time in more than 40 years with Hakan Sukur scoring a brilliant goal.

The Inter star has scored 35 times in 70 games for Turkey and he led the attack that wrecked Austrian resistance after the opening ten minutes.

Alpay and Sukur came close before Basturk hit a low drive from the edge of the penalty area and Sukur sealed the win in the 19th minute with a thrashed right foot volley from a cross by Basturk.

Arif Erdem was set up by Sukur for a comfortable header and he scored again from close range to end the rout and restore Gunes' impressive side to the World Cup finals for the first time since 1954.
