Georgia defeated Lithuania 2-0 with late goals from Aleksandr Iashvili to keep the visitors at the bottom of group eight.
New coach Alexander Chivadze has now won back-to--back matches but Lithuania again contributed much to the game with a disciplined performance that took its tempo from their brave 0-0 at home to Italy on Saturday.
It took until the 81st minute for Georgia to break the deadlock when Aleksandr Iashvili let a cross from Georgi Kinkladze drop in the area for a low finish and he was put clear to seal the win by Georgi Demetradze.
