Romania have taken a place in the November play-offs with a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Hungary.

Adrian Ilie chipped Hungarian goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly from at least thirty metres in the 11th minute to set up with win with an excellent improvised finish.

Marius Niculae was put clear on goal to finish in the 25th minute when he rounded the advancing Kiraly to slot into an empty net. Janos Matyus hit the crossbar with a second half header in Hungary's best chance of a spirited display.
