Brazil beat Saudi Arabia 1-0 in a Riyadh friendly with midfielder Djalminha scoring the winner in the 72nd minute.

However, the Saudi team missed a penalty kick chance to equalise as the game wound down.

Djalminha curled a free mick beyond goalkeeper Mohamed Deayea and into the corner of the net for a rare moment of quality.

Then Brazilian goalkeeper Dida was penalised by referee Abderrahman Abdel Khalek for felling an opponent when a kicked clearance was mishit by the former Milan player.

But Abdallah Al-Waked smacked the penalty kick over the crossbar.

Luiz Felipe Scolari's team bnow meet Colombia next week in another friendly.
