Nigeria won a scrappy game against host nation Mali to end their African Nations Cup.
Nigeria, the pre-tournament favourites, finished third thanks to their 1-0 victory with a first half goal from Yakubu Alyegbeni.
Nwankwo Kanu, Augustine 'Jay Jay' Okocha, Taribo West and Finidi George were all missing from the game that they dominated.
Alyegbeni scored the only goal in the 29th minute when he was put clear of a clumsy offside trap and slid the bal under the advancing Mali goalkeeper Mahamadou Sidibe.
Sidibe was taken off straight after and had collided with Alyegbeni in the fourth minute and replaced by 17 year old Karamoko Keita, a goalkeeper at English amateur side Harrow Borough.
