Defending champions Cameroon saw Parma AC star Patrick Mboma score a stunning winner to overcome DR Congo.

The striker is up for sale at Parma and did his transfer value no harm at all when he hit a rising drive on the run in the 40th minute after tearing past four defenders.

Lauren Mayer crossed just before half time for Mboma to go clear again but he failed to control the chance in the best chance to the remaining play.
