South Korea hammered a tired Scotland team 4-1 in Busan.
Scots' coach Berti Vogts complained on his arrival about the flight and facilities for training and then ordered his players to train on the pitch after the final whistle following this latest heavy defeat.
The Scots have turned to an eccentric coach who was clearly under great strain in his last serious job with Bayer Leverkusen in an attempt to reverse their decline but they could not cope with Guus Hiddink's side.
Two goals from Ahn Jung-Hwan and further efforts from Lee Chun-Soo and Yoon Jong-Hwan emphasised the gap in class but the Scots were missing Dominic Matteo, Paul Lambert and Stephen Crainey with injuries.
Lee Chun-Soo beat a defender to create a first goal for himself in the 15th minute and sealed the win in the 57th minute with a long range drive from substitute Ahn.
Second substitute Yoon scored with a long range effort five minutes later but Scott Dobie from close range to give the Scots some consolation but Ahn chipped goalkeeper Neil Sullivan to end their hopes with five minutes to go.
