Denmark defeated Tunisia 2-1 in Wakayama to end their World Cup preparations.

Chelsea winger Jesper Gronkjaer opened the scoring in the 17th minute when he was put clear by new Milan signing Jon Dahl Tomasson and shimmied to set himself up before driving in a right-foot shot.

Ziad Jaziri equalised when he took a pass from Ajax midfielder Hatem Trabelsi and steadied himself before a blasted finish just after the hour mark.

In the 67th minute Gronkjaer hit a driven cross for Ebbe Sand to head in well after losing his marker.
