You really got to feel for Ballack...Posted by Kippax on June 25, 2002 at 14:30:49: yellow card means his out of the final, yet it was his goal that got them there. Wonder if anyone will give him their medal if they beat Brasil/Turkey in the final? If Germany do win the final does that mean they don't automatically qualify for the next WC?...even though they are hosting it! :) If they do win it what does that say about all the other teams, if a team, not even rated in Germany (remember they only got through the qualifiers) ends up winning the cup! Finally, who'd ever thought they'd see a German team consisting of a Swiss, Pole, and African!?!
