Last night, Morioka town held a meeting to organise a JFL team, and hopes to eventually build a club strong enough to win promotion to the J2 or J3 by 2008 (the date that they are thinking about expanding to three divisions)

The new player-coach of the team, which will be named "Gurulla Morioka," will be none other than Shinichi Muto, who dropped out of sight after JEF decided not to reclaim him from Oita Trinita at the end of last year.

I thought youd be interested to hear that Muto is back. Itll be interesting to see how successful the new team will be. Any club that names itself after a tango step cant be all bad . . .
