Roma are preparing a Ł15 M bid for Aussie Mark Viduka - and want the Leeds centre-forward to become their new
"Batistuta".
Viduka's outstanding performance against Lazio earlier this month has sparked interest from a number of Serie A clubs.

Speaking with the Daily Mail, Roma official Nils Liedholm said, "I told (Roma chairman) Sensi after that game that we
had to buy him.

"The most important thing now is to buy him before another big club does because this guy could be our new Gabriel
Batistuta.

"That is how highly we rate him because I have not seen a more exciting player in Europe this season."
