We have our first run-off election in the PPPPool this week. All those who submit an entry to next week's pool are required to vote for one of the two candidates. Both contestnats submitted rather abbreviated entries last week, but unlike the US Supreme Court, Ill leave it to the voters to decide which is the better candidate. The winner gets three points and the loser one point towards the final championship of the PPPPool.

Here are the two entries:

Thursday, 14th, Spanish King's Cup
Orotava 1:4 Raya Vallecano
(Or, by the rules: R. Vallecano 4:1 Orotava)

"Orotaya" is in Spanish 4th division, and any other outcome would be a major surprise.

Thursday, 14th, Spanish King's Cup
Toledo 0:4 Real Madrid
(Or, by the rules: Real Madrid 4:0 Toledo)

"Toledo" is a bit higher - in 3rd division.

Saturday, 16th, Belgian championship
Anderlecht 3:0 Aalst

"Anderlecht" is in pursue after "Brugge" and can't afford not to win this one.

Sunday, 17th, Italian Serie A
AC Parma 2:0 Vicenza

AC Parma" has improved its form since start of the season, and is now near the peak of it.

Sunday, 17th, Greek championship
Olympiakos 3:1 Jannina

I have no time to comment on this one

Well yet another week has passed us by and Christmas is fast approaching, meaning trades and mid season break. But before that we got some big games this week, so here we go!

Friday-German Bundesliga
Stuttgart 1 vs o Freiburg: This should be a game of patience where Freiburg will defend and Stuttgart will aplly the pressure, look for a late goal by Stuttgart as Freiburgs defenders get tired.

Saturday-Premier League
Man. United 1 vs 1 Liverpool: A tie is what I see, even though my brain says Man U could very well walk away with the points, I am hoping that Liverpool shows some of its flash and walks away with something.

Sunday-Italy Serie A
Fiorentina 2 vs 0 Udinese: Udineses poor form will continue unless they can get the ball to Sosa wich has been a problem, Fiorentina however have shown signs of good play this year and should win this one.

Sunday-Italy Serie A
Roma 2 vs 1 Lazio: This is the one I have been waiting for, perhaps the game of the year. I think Roma will outplay Lazio, unless Veron is 100% and Crespo finally gets in form. However, I think Batistuta and Totti will continue to frustrate a shaky Lazio defence and look for Cafu to once again have a great game. I also hope they start Nakata, after the great game he had this past week.

Sunday-Argentine Clasura 1
Boca Juniors 3 vs 2 Estudiantes: I wish I could see this game, Estudiantes are my second favorite team in Argentina after my beloved Boca, and this should be a tasty game as historicaly when these sides play there is little between them and the soccer is full of flair and goals. But in the end I think Bocas class will prevaill.
