Wow, that's an impressive history your family has bro!So I guess you were born in Canada. How come you speak Romanian?

My story is not that exciting. My parents were both born in Romania, but everyone from my mother's side are from Greece (Macedonian actually). I am really interested in what you said about yout Transylvanian ancestors - that name-Grorgy Rakoczi sounds very familiar, i'm gonna do some research to see what i can find. I am interested in info about Transylvania - I had a Hungarian history professor in University who seemed very anti Romanian whenever Transylvania was the topic. I would really like to get as much info as possible about Transylvania...wouldn't it be nice if somebody wrote a book to clarify everything about this mysterious place? Also I think that Vlad Tepes was a great Romanian hero - I don't believe in that vampire smashing...I wish I had gotten more info when I was in Romania this summer. I could have spoken to so many intelligent professors (instead I was partying like crazy! I don't know if you ever went to Constantsa but the chicks there are better than in Rio!!!)
