A New Weapon for the Arsenal ArsenalPosted by Matsu on June 30, 2001 at 05:43:29: This morning's newspapers confirmed the news that Junichi Inamoto has reached terms for a transfer to Arsenal. He will join the team on July 27. Arsenal_vince, as your last post suggested, broadcasting rights are going to be at least as valuable to Arsenal as Inamoto himself. According to the newspaper this morning, three separate terrestrial broadcast networks (Fuji TV, NTV and Asahi TV) have ALL submitted bids to carry the Arsenal matches in Japan (and this less than 24 hours after the deal was confirmed). With the money Wenger gets from TV rights, maybe he can sign us a better striker!!!
