Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari had the gall to defend his player.
"The ball hit him on the foot and then bounced upwards," said Scolari.
"He put his hand on his face to stop being hit in the face."
And we all know that if a Brazilian gets sent off because an opposition player feigns an injury Scolari will be furious. The best people to stop players feigning injury are the managers, but they always think it will work to their advantage and forget it will work to their disadvantage at leats as many times as they get some profit from it.
